At Lauren Killip Occupational Therapy, we are dedicated to helping children reach their full potential through personalized, compassionate care. With a deep commitment to the well-being of each child, our team of experienced Paediatric occupational therapists provides services designed to support the development of critical skills that promote independence, confidence, and success in everyday activities.
We understand that every child is unique, and so are their needs. That’s why we take a personalized approach to therapy, tailoring each program to meet the specific goals and challenges of every child we serve. Whether it’s improving fine motor skills, enhancing sensory processing, or promoting social development, we work closely with families and schools to create a comprehensive plan that fosters growth and achievement.
Our therapists use evidence-based practices and therapeutic strategies to help children with a wide range of conditions, including autism spectrum disorder (ASD), sensory processing issues, developmental delays, ADHD, and more. We are passionate about creating a positive and supportive environment that encourages children to thrive.
Lauren graduated with a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy from the University of Queensland in 2006 and has since worked as an OT for over ten years across a variety of settings including hospitals, community and home visits. Lauren took a break from practice to raise her family.
After working part time in a paediatric private practice setting. Lauren founded Lauren Killip Occupational Therapy in 2025.
Lauren is passionate about working with children, engaging their families and community services to support their engagement in activities of daily living.
Lauren likes to make therapy fun and engaging by tailoring activities to each child’s strengths and interests.
Outside of work Lauren enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, and loves reading, music, culture and travel.
Lauren looks forward to working with you and your child in a fun and safe environment that will encourage and support achievement of their goals.
